Club Meetings and Classes

Club Meetings:
The next club meeting is scheduled for Sept. 21, 2010.  All club members are invited to attend.  This meeting will be held at Rotary Park.

Handgun Permit Classes:
Handgun permit classes are generally held the second Saturday of each month (unless otherwise posted).

You will need to bring a safe handgun, 50 rounds of factory ammunition (no reloads), and eye and ear protection. The class runs from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and costs $50.  No pre-registration is required.

The classes for 2010 are scheduled as follows:

• May 8

• June 12

• July 10

• August 14

• September 11

• October 9

• November 13

• December 11

Hunter's Safety Classes:

The next hunter safety class will start August 23, 2010.  This is a traditional 5 day class.  Contact the TWRA at the number below to sign up or for questions.

Hunter safety classes are offered free of charge.  If you were born after January 1, 1969 the State of Tennessee requires you to pass this course in order to hunt.  You must be at least 9 years old to enroll in the class.
