Club Meetings and Classes

Club Meetings:
Our club meetings for 2012 are scheduled for:

• March 20
• June 19
• September 18 - At Rotary Park on Oakland Avenue
• November 20

All club members are invited to attend. 

Handgun Permit Classes:
Handgun permit classes are generally held the second Saturday of each month (unless otherwise posted).

You will need to bring a safe handgun, 50 rounds of factory ammunition (no reloads), and eye and ear protection. The class runs from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and costs $50.  No pre-registration is required.

The classes for 2012 are scheduled as follows:

• January 14

• February 11

• March 10

• April 14

• May 12

• June 9

• July 14

• August 11

• September 8

• October 13

• November 10

• December 8

If scheduling conflicts arise, class dates are subject to change.  Schedule changes will be posted to this page.  Always check this page for the most recent information.

Hunter's Safety Classes:

The next hunter safety class is scheduled for some time in Spring 2012.  Dates and times will be posted as available.

Hunter safety classes are offered free of charge.  If you were born after January 1, 1969 the State of Tennessee requires you to pass this course in order to hunt.  You must be at least 9 years old to enroll in the class.
